Lu

Lu is another friend of Rubi [link] from 'Dragon Ball: Future Horizons'

Lu here is another childhood friend of Rubi and Dinna. While he did think Rubi's desire to be a martial artist was weird at first, after seeing her train he felt inspired. Lu decided he would be a martial artist too, though he'd do it in his own way. Lu started checking through old books and found ones about martial arts and decided to train using that information, he told Rubi that when both their training was complete he'd challenge her to a match. When Rubi went out to find a sensei Lu just laughed and said he didn't need one, he'd already had all he needed.
But when Rubi told them that Lu and Dinna could come to the Kame House to train Lu decided to go too, being curious as to what sort of training Rubi was doing.

Lu is very sure of himself and confident that he can handle anything that comes his way, there's no problem he can't handle in his opinion. While he can be somewhat egotistic Lu is very loyal to his friends and will do anything he can to help if they're in trouble.
